This collection is about the modern, more discriminating bride. It is filled with beautiful, whimsical pieces that add femininity and romance. Every gown is a work of art and strategically created to flatter any figure. There is an ‘unexpected surprise’ found in each dress: beautiful necklines, gorgeous silhouettes, asymmetrical cuts and stunning backs. Wonderland takes a different, more stunning, look!
The Joseph gown is architectural. This Silk mermaid style Taffeta gown is structured to give the body great form. The attention to detail on the lined center of the bodice and back is remarkable. These lines run down the skirt and open in a fan like form giving fullness to the skirt and chapel train in the back. The dress is accented with a floral Swarovski piece at the natural waist.

Jorge Manuel wanted a dress with specific elements for the shot. "It needed to have symmetry, for obvious reasons! Standing next to two characters that look identical demanded a symmetrical gown," says the designer. The characters that played Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum are real twins. These characters veer off from the traditional physical appearance depicted in the book or the movie.
The end result captures the essence of who these brothers are and the role they played in Alice's experience in Wonderland. The designer took some time searching for the location of the shoot. It was important to him to have the background compliment the scene and not compete with it. Most pictures of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum are deep in a forest, but Jorge Manuel took a different approach. The pictures speak for themselves.
