The collection includes amazing attention to detail. Jorge Manuel experiments with fabrics, textures, and colors to bring to life an incredible visual form of art. The dresses are highly sophisticated, feminine and chic. The campaign the designer chose for this collection is based on the time of the revolution during the Newsboys Strike of 1899. Jorge Manuel is proud to bring his own version of a “revolution” into the bridal industry with the Etelvina Collection.
This one-of-a-kind dress was the perfect gown for the peculiar Caterpillar. The Lined Silk gown with thousands of cut crystals embroidered by hand is a show stopper. The modern semi-circular neckline accentuated by Silk Taffeta petals explodes in a floral form with Swarovski Crystals. The natural waist bares a pleated sash. The mermaid skirt is hand embroidered with hundreds of strands of cut crystals. The inlets on the flare part of the skirt softens the crystals and gives fullness to the lower part of the gown.

The Matilde gown closed last season's Etelvina Collection fashion show. "I wanted to close the show with it not because of how much it took, but because of the person who inspired it," says Jorge Manuel. This dress is inspired by the designer's maternal grandmother.
The skirt had to be beaded separately before constructing the dress. It was placed on a large table and each stranded beaded unto each section of the skirt.
