This collection is perhaps one of the most personal collections for the Designer. Jorge Manuel found solace in the memory of his uncle and inspired by the "flight" of a bird the AVIARY COLLECTION 2015 was born.

"We tend to forget how simple and fragile life can be. It an instant what is, isn't and vice versa. We are creatures of routine and sometimes even when that routine is broken, it comes down hard on us. My uncle's passing was an inspiration to me. His courage to fight even at the very end consoled me. After he passed I recall thinking that he was finally "free" from hurt and pain. He was now free to fly away," remembers Jorge Manuel.

It was very fitting for the the bridal gown designer to theme his collection inspired by birds. "Not only are they beautiful and unique creatures, their wings are symbolic of their ability to soar and be great above us. I want to offer brides simplicity with this collection, but strength and beauty," explains Jorge Manuel.

The journey began shortly for the designer thereafter. Jorge Manuel had a clear vision of what the AVIARY COLLECTION 2015 should look like.

The concept for the campaign collection is mysterious and beautifully dark. The AVIARY COLLECTION 2015 is photographed in a place where both truth and dreams collide.

The AVIARY COLLECTION 2015, composed of 17 dresses, is an homage to the magic of letting go. It took months to study these birds and only then was he able to use pattern paper to actually design the fabric for each dress - bead by bead. Jorge Manuel truly captures "Haute Couture" into each of his wedding dresses by having created the fabric itself for this collection.

Jorge Manuel brings to life a collection that is light and beautiful, yet timeless. It is a collection that speaks to the bride who truly wants "that something 'gorgeous' and 'uniquely' different in her dress!"
