JORGE MANUEL

The Man Behind the Clothes …

Jorge Manuel, a vibrant Cuban-American designer, was born in the sun-soaked city of Miami. Growing up in this melting pot of cultures, he was shaped by the rich diversity that surrounded him, influenced largely by the Latin American families of his private school peers. This dynamic backdrop has infused his designs with a multi-layered soul, reflecting the essence of his beloved city.

His collections masterfully blend Caribbean flair with Asian minimalism, harmonizing cubist shapes with Art Deco elegance to create a signature style that’s distinctly his own. Despite his formal training, Jorge’s passion for design emerged early; he could often be found sketching ideas on everything from discarded napkins to the corners of mundane documents.

At just 17, he designed his first wedding gown, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey that would see him crafting exquisite pieces for private clients and boutiques alike.

In 2007, he took a bold step, opening his own bridal studio, where he has since created hundreds of stunning custom wedding gowns for brides and boutiques. Jorge Manuel’s artistry continues to captivate, bringing dreams to life with every stitch.

Jorge Manuel pursued his studies at Florida International University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree with a diverse focus on advertising, architecture, and interior design—fields that significantly enriched his understanding of the design industry. He later earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, equipping him with essential skills to strengthen  his bridal business .
